While I've only met him online, Peter Carey seems like a totally cool guy. On this lovely snowy day off I took sometime and checked out his blog. I stumbled across this post. What a great idea! Interested what the C of E is doing while our leadership is over here fighting.

Prop 8: The Musical

So every once in a while something worth reading comes to my HOB/D email list. I was intregued when I read the subject line Jesus on YouTube, and the body of the email said Prop 8: The Musical. I laughed so hard I cried. I hope you enjoy it and that you become mindful of what a poweful impact the Episcopal Church can make in the lives of so many people.

An Advent Reflection

With the current situation in the life of the church, it is easy - and how I often do it - to think of the Archbishop of Canterbury as a political leadership. But, this video is an excellent remind of the spiritual leader that he his. Take ten minutes to watch this man give a reflection on Advent. It was a great way to start the day and get me feeling all "Adventy".

So searching around the interwebs this morning I came across this video about an Advent Campaign that the C of E is running. Pretty cool stuff, and a great Advent message "Pray now buy later".
